The core concept and precursor to the creation of Visual Algos System involved comprehension and visualization of the seemingly erratic price movements of certain NASDAQ-listed equities during the so-called dot-com era. The idea was to evaluate the efficiency of several key technical indicators working in tandem in order to visually enhance the parabolic nature of certain price movements. Extensive back-testing and real-time testing revealed some common characteristics which resulted in axioms that now form the foundation of Visual Algos System. Regression analysis, performed within many time frames using historical and real-time data, pointed to the key conclusion that technical analytic algorithms are the main driving forces behind most price movements. Thus from early stages of development, the main objective was to analyze and utilize the collective effect of various technical algorithms on price movements.
