Bands

Bands and technical algorithms are the primary technical analysis instruments of the methods applied by Visual Algos. Bands are employed for a range of applications; reading and interpreting bands are simplified by generating easy-to-read charts based on classic formations.

In the early stages of defining Visual Algos System, straight line studies were conducted to identify trend lines, channels, triangles, flags, pennants, and other recognizable technical formations. Subjectivity associated with the construction of straight lines led to evaluations of curve generating indicators and bands.

Patterns are formed by forces exerted by multiple sets of bands and they are consequently best visualized by the respective bands. Identifications of the corresponding algorithms are the key to visualizing patterns and nested patterns.

Trends and cycles within multiple time intervals are visualized by bands. Trend exhaustion and mean reversion can be anticipated by utilizing bands.
